Another soup!

The superb healthy soup my mom made this morning. Loads of mushroom, fish balls (different from the previous dish and much yummy) and veggie 'tung oh' are put in this delicacy and served with brown rice (my mom cooks!).

This is clear soup that is healthy and tasty my mom made. Fish balles in the soup is costly. Well, worth the pay.

Oh hoooooo! My mom-made khai toon for today's breakfast!!

Cooked at 5am and prepared ingredients yesterday specially for sis and me as long time never eaten! Ohhhhh!!

Dough of daddy

When Krispy Kreme is not yet launched till this coming Tuesday, I opt to try another famous brand, Daddy Dough.

It serves not only donut, a range of pies and beverage are also available.(Like other brands)

Here are Original Glaze and Coconut Pie. For me, they are thumb down! Disappointed!!

Ka nom jeen

Mom's favourite dish is ka nom jeen nam prik at Ka Nom Jeen Bangkok. But it was out of at MBK branch. So she opts to ka nom jeen nam ya pla instead. Same good taste, she said.

Mine is ka nom jeen kang pah, my first time for this dish. But it was not okay for me much. Just want to taste or else??

Another dish that should also get the five star for this restaurant is nam toek moo oeb. No pic shown here. Aroi mark. Next time need to have sticky rice too!!

Pasta soup again

My mom made pasta soup was served this morning. We all in family had chance to eat. It is truly my favourite delicacy all time!

No one can cook this good taste like my mama.

(Just plain pasta could be my snack!)

Sang kha tharn..sook jai

Made merit with mom by offering sang-kha-tharn at Wat Khork Moo near my home as the occasion of the Buddhist Lent.

The temple is common to us. It was built in the King Rama II reign with six rai or so. It is truly shady pleasurable place!

Meatball

The two kinds of meatballs from the original restaurant at Worachak mom bought for me this afternoon; fried shrimp meatball, this one is marvelous!, and another one, baa-e in Chinese. Costly but fantastic indeed!!

Favourite dish with some points

Apart from my favourite salad from Siam Paragon's supermarket bar, it is the soup that is another my top rank.

But, today's soup selection is not much delicious. It is thick type. It is brocolli with mushroom soup.

The salad is not different, the salad dressing is thick type. So just remember next time, I need to check out salad dressing. So?? So it is not for my health, it is for my need!!

Mom bought guaw-jub narm koen and shared me. It was greater than mine! 5555 simple delicious meal..on Friday.

In order to stock veggies and other household necessaries at home, I managed to go through the traffic to Siam Paragon yesterday. Hurried out off office alone and catched the bus to.

Lots of people around Siam and Siam Paragon, sure!, since it is the end of the month.

4 scoops of 'iberry' homemade ice-cream are for my mom; black sesame, khao klong doi, moccha almond fudge, and coconut mix fruit. All flavors are carefully selected for her.

And this, my time! Veggie for my salad dishes; butterhead, oakleaf and rocket. The last one is pak kwang toong to be fried by p'Poen. Thanks ka :)

Family dinner

Just got back from dinner with mom, the youngest aunt and uncle at Krua Dok Mai Khao. I tried new dishes of others. Shown here are Kaeng Soem Pakruam Plathord, fried noodles with fried prawn in sauce, apple crumble (a piece of sweet taken home to enjoy tomorrow). The favourite of me was still on the table; Caesar Salad, my mom's favourites; porpiek and deep fried salted chicken.

Eam kumlung okay ka.

Krua Dok Mai Khao

Located on Krungkasem Road, around Hua Chiew Hospital, not in the heart of crowded place since along the road is a bit quiet when the sun is set. Yet, it is surprising that Krua Dok Mai Khao Restaurant (White Flower Restaurant) is full with diners every time I visit (all are dinner time).

The restaurant serves Thai and international menu like others.

The taste is quite good and the price is, well, you know, let's say, reasonable, neither much expensive nor cheaper than others.

Desserts are also recommended after meal. I love its coconut ice cream. Next time let's try a piece (or more) cake. hehehe.

It's not my first time as indicated, today I decided it's time to blog some info of this fine restaurant.

Krua Dok Mai Khao is named by H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The nameplate shown here is written by Her.

The dessert is the first time I taste. This is Fruit Salad Ice Cream. Two scoops of ice cream, I chose coconut and green tea. The marvelous is coconut. Superb! Expensive for this small treat!

Reminiscent joy

Just like past months, the weather is still very hot. Wonder what's the temperature going to be for the next ten years?? It is going to be as high as 50 celcius!!!!???? Maybe! This is what everyone worries, the effect of the global warming! So I need to have another home aboard?? :) How can the little girl like me?? Ja rorn pai teung nai nieeeeeee?!!!!!!


Today the little boy of my senior colleague went to study in full uniform the first day. He is a kindergarten boy with the school bag that is reminiscent of my past childhood. Though I cannot picture myself having this type of bag to the school, what is still vivid in my mind is the picture of my dearest mama carrying my two bags and my younger sister's two bags in her two hands when we were in the prathom level. Our school bags were packed with many books and stationeries. We walked to the school everyday. She did this hard job every morning and evening in order to save her children from the backache and let us walk hand in hand.

Nothing is worth than the motherhood! I love you my Mamma!
